Give a summary of the main plot. What happened and why? Bana Is a young girl that is living during a war and is trying to survive with her family. I believe it is a civil war because someone says during one point in the paragraph “Did you tell the rebels that my friend was here?”
What did you like best about the book and why? A story about a girl pleading for peace and living through a war. She wants to protect other people and hates all the bloodshed. #relatable.
What did you like the least about the book and why? What I dislike the most about the book the most is Bana going through this. No person should go through this.
Would you recommend this book to a friend to read? Why or why not? Yes, it is a great story for a plea of no war. It is a great book and It tells you the consequences of war.
The book helped me realize how fortunate we are. We are currently going through difficult times with Covoid-19, but at least there aren't bombs falling on us.
