The Twin Trees: Prologue

The Twin Trees  By Ashton Miller
Prologue
In a lush ancient forest filled with magical endangered creatures and magic plants, there were two elder trees. One tree was holy white and the other was underworld black. The black tree had poisonous sap, and the white tree had life-giving sap. The two elder trees fought for dominance over the forest. This bothered the gods that ruled over the world, who cursed the two trees together. As the trees fused, the two saps came together to make a sap that gives eternal youth to the person who drinks it, but also will make them feel eternal pain. A legend says that once every 100 years an angel blesses the trees allowing the sap to grant the drinker one wish.  The only way to find this mystic forest is to follow the depths of the underworld to where an invisible path is revealed by full moonlight showing you the way.

Would you rather: Have the eye’s of a cat, or to the nose of a dog?

  1. I like your story very much! I would rather have the eyes of a cat because I could go for walks at night and be able to see without a flashlight.
