Coronavirus and the Climate

1. What was the main idea of the text, “Coronavirus Good News/ Bad News for Climate”?

The main idea is that the climate is changing from the coronavirus. I'm going to explain why the climate is changing. It is changing from the lack of pollution. Pollution is caused by fuel, oil, cars, planes, boats, electricity, and smoke. So people aren't using many of these things anymore because they are home.

2. What did you learn from the image on page 1 of the article?  Why is this image included in the article?  I learned that China has lost 25% of its pollution because of the factories closing down. Yay! The picture is there to show you how much pollution China has lost during stay-at-home.

3. How has the “stay-at-home” order changed the amount of pollution in different communities? The stay-at-home order changed the climate by not letting people go on airplanes, boats, and cars. Plus people are staying and working at home. This is the reason why the pollution is going away.

4. Do you think that the “stay-at-home” order should be something that the world continues after it is no longer mandatory?  If so, how often should it happen?  When would people be asked to “stay-at-home”? If people had to stay at home for longer it would be because of a come-back of coronavirus or if it mutates and becomes more deadly. People will stay home for about 1 to 2 months waiting for the virus to be eradicated. The best thing is that there would be a vaccine to cure or pause the coronavirus.  People would then not have to stay home or stay home as long.  

(People may also stay-at-home even with no virus because it is a gamer summer.Gamers never go outside. L.O.L.)
